ARMELY Healthcare / Staffing Analytics

You know your revenue. You know your payroll. You just cannot see both numbers in the same place at the same time.

American Surgical staffs providers across hospitals and surgery centers in Virginia and Florida. Revenue and payroll data arrived in separate Excel files every two weeks. Margin by provider and facility was invisible until someone manually assembled the picture. Armely built an automated pipeline and Power BI reporting system that shows profitability the moment the data arrives.

Does this describe your staffing operation?

  • Revenue and payroll data arrive in separate files with no automated way to combine them
  • Margin by provider or facility requires manual reconciliation across multiple Excel workbooks
  • When a facility is undercharged or a provider is overallocated, you find out next cycle, not now
  • Files sit in email or shared drives until someone manually moves and processes them
  • There is no historical trend view to compare pay periods or track facility performance over time
  • Leadership makes operational decisions with week-old numbers because the data is not ready

What Armely did for American Surgical

American Surgical runs a multi-facility provider staffing operation. Payroll and invoicing data is generated from Surgical Cloud every two weeks. Both data streams moved through manual Excel files before reaching the people who needed to make decisions.

Armely built an end-to-end automated pipeline. Power Automate captures files from email the moment they arrive. SSIS packages transform and load the data into a centralized SQL Server data warehouse. Three Power BI reports surface revenue, payroll, margin, and variance figures by provider, facility, and event type.

Leadership now opens one dashboard to see how every provider and facility is performing by pay period or by month. Variance flags surface misalignments between payroll and invoicing automatically. No one waits for finance to run a report.
