What Changed
An independent oil and gas operator needed its financial and operational data in one place. Revenue, lease operating expenses, and production figures came from P2 BOLO, a Linux-based production accounting system, but getting those numbers in front of decision-makers required manual exports, spreadsheet assembly, and report requests that took days. Armely designed and built a self-service business intelligence platform from the ground up: a SQL Server data warehouse connected directly to P2 BOLO, an analytical layer built on SQL Server Analysis Services, and Power BI reports covering lease operating expenses, lease operating statements, and financial performance, accessible on desktop and mobile. The team now pulls current financial data without waiting for anyone to run a report.
